    Emma Michael

    Emma received her JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2009 and was called to the bar in 2010. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Women’s Law Association and the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association.

    While having focused her practice on real estate for over ten years, Emma loves the interplay of estate planning and corporate law as well. She currently focuses her practice in these areas. Believing in educating her clients and the community alike, she frequently provides lectures and seminars to various agencies and organizations on issues related to the firm’s focal areas of business. She is also bilingual and fluent in written and spoken Spanish.

    As a founding partner of Aion Law Partners LLP, Emma is deeply committed to empowering her clients by setting the highest of standards as well as providing them with personal and comprehensive legal services. Working with both large and small clients, uncompromising dedication and commitment are at the core of her practice. From the purchase of property to various investments and business ventures, and ultimately planning a legacy, she takes pride in being part of her clients’ journey through success.

    While appreciating the complexities that come with the practice of law, Emma loves to be lighthearted. She believes working with a lawyer should be a great experience and her personable approach is her trademark.

    Marlenne Doss

    Marlenne Doss received her LLB from Queen’s University in 2004 and was called to the bar in 2005. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and brings a breadth of experience to her practice.

    Having previously practiced in a firm specializing in immigration law in Toronto, she gained ample experience in the field, moving on later to act as an instructor of paralegal and law clerk courses. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and various tribunals including the Immigration and Refugee Board.

    Moving to a prominent firm specializing in intellectual property law, Marlenne gained exposure to a broad range of corporate, trade-mark, patent, tribunal and Federal Court of Appeal work. She leveraged her previous experiences and founded her own practice in 2008, specializing in the areas of immigration, real estate, wills and estates and corporate law ever since.

    Marlenne brings her wide ranging skills to Aion Law Partners LLP as a founding partner, priding herself on providing the service and experience of a large firm without losing the personal touch, client care and compassion of a small firm.

    Marlenne is also actively involved in providing seminars on various legal topics to her community and to various businesses and serves as a board member at Little Miracles Childcare and Learning Centre. Outside of the legal world, Marlenne enjoys travelling, cooking, the theatre, cultural activities and time with her family.

    Corporate Lawyer

    Avram Musafija

    Avram is a general corporate and commercial lawyer. Avram articled at Robins Appleby in Toronto and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020. Avram received his J.D. with Distinction and a specialization certificate in commercial law from Bond University in Australia. While in law school Avram was the president of a student run management consulting group assisting charities and NFPs and a volunteer at the university’s commercial legal clinic, which provided small businesses with guidance and advice. Avram’s current practice focuses on operational and transactional matters for businesses.

    When he’s not working, Avram enjoys cooking, surfing, and traveling. Avram also volunteers his time as a Director on the Board of Holy Blossom Temple and is a member of the OBA’s Business Law Executive.

    Saba Chenani

    Saba Chenani is a JD/MBA from the Schulich School of Business and Osgoode Hall Law School. With an educational background that focuses on the intersection of business and law, Saba had become a firm believer in the Canadian Real Estate market. He now looks to facilitate transactions and help his clients manage their portfolios as part of Aion’s Real Estate team.

    In addition to his interests in business and law, Saba is very passionate about professional sports, having been a longtime supporter of the Toronto Raptors, FC Barçelona, and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

    Senior Law Clerk & Client Ambassador

    Kamilah Joseph

    Kamilah Joseph is a Law Clerk at Aion Law Partners LLP, and also serves as our Client Ambassador. Kamilah has experience working in various law firms for the last thirteen years with a primary focus on real estate. She has the ability to work effectively with staff and is an incredible asset to the firm. Her responsibilities include drafting documents, title searching, working with clients to successfully complete transactions. She is known for her commitment and professionalism in the field. She also has a Certificate in Adjudication for Administrative Agencies Boards and Tribunals from York University. She is always looking for new challenges.

    Office Manager

    Ingrid Rodriguez

    Ingrid is the Office Manager at Aion Law Partners LLP. After earning her diploma in Office Administration- Executive Administrative Assistant from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2005, she entered the workforce and worked in similar capacities in industries from medical to financial. She finally found her place when she joined the field of law in 2013.
    Ingrid enjoys her role with the firm and always provides assistance when and where she can. She thrives in this environment, where she continuously has the opportunity to learn.

    Outside of the office, Ingrid enjoys all kinds of activities, but her favourite past-time is spending time with her family, whether it’s playing board games or simply watching a movie. She also enjoys baking, cooking and grilling (all seasons), and unwinding with a good book and a cup of coffee on a rainy day.

    Paula Wright

    Having previously worked for 12 years at another law firm in the Greater Toronto Area, Paula has over 20 years of administrative experience. She loves working with people and passionately assists clients and staff with great cheer.

    In her leisure time, Paula enjoys charades, board games and karaoke with family and friends.

    Law Clerk

    Marcia Jeffrey

    Marcia Jeffrey is a law clerk at Aion Law Partners LLP where her key role is to provide administrative assistance in the areas of real estate, wills & estate, immigration, and corporate law. Her main focus is on real estate transactions with an emphasis on residential real estate. Her responsibilities include dealing with mortgage lending transactions, reviewing title searches, conducting due diligence searches, drafting title requisitions and closing documents, conducting online searches and registrations, and attending on closings. Marcia graduated with a Law Clerk Diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology and is a member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario.

    In her free time Marcia enjoys singing and listening to different genres of music

    Law Clerk

    Alyssa Medrano

    Alyssa joined Aion Law in June 2021 to begin her career in the legal field after completing the Paralegal program at Humber College. She hopes to attend law school in the future, but currently enjoys her role in the administrative and clerical side of the legal profession. She is taking her extensive background in customer service to help cultivate genuine and lasting relationships with our clients. She is diligent and very detail-oriented, enabling her to work in tandem with the rest of the team to ensure accuracy and efficacy when working on our client files.

    Outside of the office, she is a mom to three active children – if she is not at the dance studio with her daughter, you can be sure to find her at the baseball diamond with her boys.


    Tiffany Bauman

    Tiffany graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto in 2019 with a Bachelors of Arts (Hons) specializing in Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies, with a minor in ethics, law, and society. Tiffany is currently completing the Juris Doctor program with Lakehead University and will be called to the bar in 2022. She is looking forward to continuing in real estate law, estate planning, and corporate law when she becomes a lawyer.

    Outside of the office, Tiffany enjoys working on her family’s farm raising chickens and going camping and hiking.
