Having previously practiced in a firm specializing in immigration law in Toronto, she gained ample experience in the field, moving on later to act as an instructor of paralegal and law clerk courses. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and various tribunals including the Immigration and Refugee Board.
Moving to a prominent firm specializing in intellectual property law, Marlenne gained exposure to a broad range of corporate, trade-mark, patent, tribunal and Federal Court of Appeal work. She leveraged her previous experiences and founded her own practice in 2008, specializing in the areas of immigration, real estate, wills and estates and corporate law ever since.
Marlenne brings her wide ranging skills to Aion Law Partners LLP as a founding partner, priding herself on providing the service and experience of a large firm without losing the personal touch, client care and compassion of a small firm.
Marlenne is also actively involved in providing seminars on various legal topics to her community and to various businesses. Outside of the legal world, Marlenne enjoys travelling, cooking, the theatre, cultural activities and time with her family.

While having focused her practice on real estate for over ten years, Emma loves the interplay of estate planning and corporate law as well. She currently focuses her practice in these areas. Believing in educating her clients and the community alike, she frequently provides lectures and seminars to various agencies and organizations on issues related to the firm’s focal areas of business. She is also bilingual and fluent in written and spoken Spanish.
As a founding partner of Aion Law Partners LLP, Emma is deeply committed to empowering her clients by setting the highest of standards as well as providing them with personal and comprehensive legal services. Working with both large and small clients, uncompromising dedication and commitment are at the core of her practice. From the purchase of property to various investments and business ventures, and ultimately planning a legacy, she takes pride in being part of her clients’ journey through success.

He has wide international experience, having worked in Finland, the Netherlands England, and Bermuda as an in-house counsel for the BBC Worldwide, Ericsson, and the Government of Bermuda.
He served as the acting Solicitor-General of Bermuda and Senior Crown Counsel where he successfully represented the Government of Bermuda on a number of high-profile and complex cases.
Prior to that, he was in private practice in Toronto where he had a successful practice in tax litigation/dispute resolution, employment law, and commercial litigation. As part of his tax resolution practice, he also developed expertise in advising private clients in offshore trusts, international business corporations, business/investment immigration in tax haven jurisdictions, and other asset protection vehicles.
He was also a professor of Employment Law, Human Rights, Canadian Business Law, and International Business Law at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology and George Brown College, both in Toronto.
He is an LL.M. graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science and holds a Juris Doctorate from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Kelly graduated (Valedictorian) as a paralegal earning the highest mark achieved. With a license to practice as a paralegal, Kelly went on to work with Collection Agencies, Law Firms, Management Companies, Investment Property Owners and to successfully building a National Legal Support Services department.
Kelly finds time to teach evening classes to investment property owners on understanding their rights as Landlords and how to effectively protect themselves from liability and can be heard on a number of podcasts and public speaking events, assisting Landlords and individuals with best practices and strategies for legal recovery.
Kelly also is a devoted mother of two incredible daughters and sister to four siblings. Down time is rare but special and devoted to family. Kelly enjoys travelling, hiking and sunny beaches.

She places importance on family relationships with a view to establish the proper framework for these relationships to continue successfully. Irene has a demonstrated commitment to her clients.
Irene was called to the bar in 2017. Her areas of practice are Wills and Estates, Real Estate and Family Law. She previously worked in a mid- sized firm in the GTA practicing in Family Law and Wills and Estates.
Irene is committed to supporting her clients by actively listening to their concerns and providing them with the necessary information. She works diligently to develop customized solutions, strategies, and options to meet their specific needs. Irene is a compassionate lawyer who prioritizes her clients' well-being.

My passion began when I dealt with my own unique immigration matter. I self-represented my ex-spouse's immigration matter, appealed a negative decision to the Immigration Appeal Division and successfully won the appeal.
I also taught the Immigration Consultant instructor course at CDI College for 3 years.

Having such a multi-faceted experience in running a business, Daniela is able to create long lasting relationships and help ensure clients feel they have a trusted source to rely on. As a receptionist with Aion Law Partners, her strengths are appreciated everyday with everyone she interacts with, and her positive energy is contagious.
After work and on weekends, Daniela enjoys spending time with her family and being the mother to her two beautiful children, who more than keep her on her toes!

Outside of the office, she is a mom to three active children – if she is not at the dance studio with her daughter, you can be sure to find her at the baseball diamond with her boys.

Ingrid enjoys her role with the firm and always provides assistance when and where she can. She thrives in this environment, where she continuously has the opportunity to learn.
Outside of the office, Ingrid enjoys all kinds of activities, but her favourite past-time is spending time with her family, whether it’s playing board games or simply watching a movie. She also enjoys baking, cooking and grilling (all seasons), and unwinding with a good book and a cup of coffee on a rainy day.
